We made a fabric that looks and feels like leather but is made entirely out of waste plastic bags, without the use of any chemicals

ThaelyTex

ThaelyTex® is Thaely's proprietary vegan leather like material made entirely from discarded LDPE plastic bags. Designed as a durable alternative to traditional leather, it gives waste a second life without using virgin plastics or animal-derived materials, combining sustainability with everyday performance.

rPET (Recycled PET)

rPET (Recycled PET) is a high-performance fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. By transforming post-consumer PET waste into durable, breathable textiles, rPET helps reduce plastic pollution while lowering the demand for virgin polyester, making it a more sustainable choice for footwear and apparel.

Recycled Rubber

Industrial Rubber Waste & Rubber Crumbs are sourced directly from our sole manufacturing factory, where rubber offcuts and production waste are collected, processed into fine granules, and incorporated into new soles. This closed-loop approach reduces manufacturing waste, minimizes the need for virgin rubber, and delivers durable soles with excellent grip and flexibility.

Plantable Recycled Paper

Used for the Box

The Thaely Y2K Pro box is made from recycled paper which is embedded with basil seeds and dyed with waste coffee grounds. Once you get your box simply cut and plant it. You will have a basil plant in 10 days - ready for pesto. Our box is sourced from Plantables in Agra, India.

Bloom® EVA

Bloom® EVA is a foam material made by blending traditional EVA with algae biomass harvested from freshwater ecosystems. By removing excess algae from waterways and incorporating it into the foam, Bloom® helps restore aquatic environments while creating lightweight, cushioned, and durable components for footwear.

Cellfit®

Zahonero Cellfit® Foam is a high-performance cushioning foam used in our insoles, made using bio-based polyols derived from waste generated during castor bean oil production. By repurposing this industrial by-product into lightweight, resilient foam, Cellfit® delivers long-lasting comfort and shock absorption while reducing reliance on virgin fossil-based materials and supporting a more circular manufacturing process.
